Bob brings a wealth of training, experience and passion to his work as an alternative dispute resolution practitioner and trainer. He has worked with families in crisis for nearly three decades, and has mediated hundreds of disputes. His legal training began in England at Oxford University where he earned an M.Juris. (British equivalent to the JurisDoctor), continued but did not finish his JD at Notre Dame Law School, and later attended The Straus Institute, Pepperdine University School of Law where he received a LLM. in Dispute Resolution. US News & World Report ranked Pepperdine’s Alternative Dispute Resolution degree program number one in the nation for the last 7 years in a row and 11 times in the last 15. In between his legal studies, Bob earned a Master of Divinity degree from Yale University. While he is not a licensed attorney, he functions as a legal expert in the field of Alternative Dispute Resolution.. He has dedicated himself to the development of the field. His passion for alternative dispute resolution flows from his desire to help people and to make an impact.
In addition to his private mediation practice, he serves as a certified Florida Superior Court mediator. He also founded the Institute for Conflict Resolution, an education and publishing entity, to respond to the need in this region for a premiere education and training organization. He has published a book on Marital Separation Agreements for non-lawyer mediators.
